Welcome to my web site. As I was president of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, the oldest body of herbalists in the western world being formed in 1864, fairly unsurprisingly a lot of information here is about herbs. As I also practise Traditional Chinese Medicine an energetic understanding of health and disease is also available.

My mother is a Homeopathic practitioners (ret'd) and my father a Baptist minister ( ret'd) from them I inherited my interest in health and matters spiritual.

I started growing herbs at the age of 13, and have been practising herbal medicine since 1984. I have been exposed to and received homeopathic treatments all my life, and use this system of medicine for some patients. I have been studying TCM since 1988 - using herbs, diet therapy and Qi gong from 1992, and Acupuncture from 1993.

My upbringing rooted me in Judaeo Christianity, and my interest in metaphysics began in my late teenager years and has actively influenced me ever since. Currently I am still practising Qi gong.
